If the sun did not roll around the sky,
If birds did not wing it, flying so high,
If rainbows got mixed up painting their hue,
Without a tomorrow, what would I do?

If all of the world was turned upside down,
Everyone laughing was wearing a frown,
If raindrops stopped sparkling and snowflakes too,
If love disappeared, what would I do?

If there was never a Valentine’s Day,
If love songs were lost, with no time to play,
If passions ignited, were all burned right through,
No one knew Cupid, what would I do?

A lot of things are taken for granted, including Valentine’s Day.
